Day
1: The tour officially starts at 13h00 in Kasane, northern
Botswana's capital. An orientation and briefing will be given at the camp.
Transfers to the meeting point can be organised from Livingstone, Victoria
Falls or Kasane airport. During the afternoon, you will have the opportunity
to unwind on a relaxing boat cruise along the Chobe
River with a chance of seeing elephants, hippos and other water
animals languishing in and along the river. Campsite with permanent toilet
and shower facilities on the banks of the Chobe River. (L, D)
Day
2 - 3 Nxai Pan National Park, camping:
Rising with the sun, our route takes us 500 kilometres south to Nxai Pan
National Park where sweet grasses host a variety of wildlife. We stop en
route for a picnic lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive searching for
desert fauna and flora characteristic of this area. Wild camping in
exclusive campsites where your Bush Ways team will set up bush showers and
toilets.
Next day we explore Nxai Pan and enjoy the plains which can be dotted with
grazing herds of impala, zebra and springbok. In the afternoon we will visit
the magnificent Baines Baobabs. These regal trees, immortalised by the
explorer Baines painting, are situated on the edge of an expansive
saltpan. (B, L, D)

4 Maun, camping:
After enjoying a morning game drive, we leave Nxai Pan and continue our
tour to Maun, the gateway to the Okavango Delta. Here we have time to visit
the shops and enjoy a relaxing afternoon. We camp overnight in a site with
permanent toilet and shower facilities. (B, L, D)
Day
5: Today we will travel to the western side of the Okavango
Delta to arrive in a corner of paradise. We will camp on an island,
possibly serenaded by the sound of hippos and bell frogs breaking the night
silence. Campsite with permanent toilet and shower facilities. (B, L, D)
Days
6 - 7: We will transfer our equipment to motorboats and will cruise
along the narrow papyrus-lined channels of the Delta searching for exotic
bird life of the region and the elusive sitatunga antelope, while absorbing
the stunning landscape of this area. Deeper in the Delta we will meet our
mokoros (traditional dug-out canoes) and enjoy a tranquil ride, as our
trusty polers pole us to an island wild camping with limited water
supplies, your Bush Ways team wild built bush toilets, showers not always
possible. Our time will be spent exploring the islands on foot and by mokoro.

Day
8: Feeling relaxed and rejuvenated by the beauty of the Okavango, we
will return to our vehicle and retrace our route to Maun. You have the
option of taking a scenic game flight ( 100) over the Delta to return to
Maun, which will create a more complete image of this unique water system.

Days
9 - 11:The big game
aspect of our tour commences today as we enter Moremi, one of the best
wilderness areas of Africa. The park covers swamp areas as well as dry land.
The next three nights will be spent in this park searching for the wide
variety of animals and birds the reserve offers, while absorbing the sounds
and beauty of this region. Game drives as the sun rises, and in the late
afternoon as the sun sets, will be the norm. Wild camping in exclusive
sites, your Bush Ways team will build bush toilets and showers. (B, L, D)
Days
12 - 13: Chobe National Park, with its diverse and striking
landscapes, is our next destination where our search for wildlife continues.
We will traverse the drier region of Savuti
where bull elephants dot the plains, and then head northwards to the Chobe
River where our game drives will meander along the banks of the river with
the call of the African fish eagle following us. Wild camping in exclusive
sites, your Bush Ways team will build bush toilets and showers. (B, L, D)
Days
14 - 15: We cross the Zambezi River by ferry, then drive to Livingstone
on the Zambian side of the Victoria Falls
where we overnight at a comfortable lodge on the banks of the Zambezi.
There is time to visit the thunderous Victoria Falls and shop for curios.
Dinner is at your own expense at the lodge.
The tour officially ends at 10am on day 15. Transfers to Livingstone,
Victoria Falls or Kasane airports can be arranged. We will gladly assist
with bookings for accommodation and activities, should you wish to extend
your visit to enjoy some of the other exciting activities offered at the
falls, such as the exhilarating White Water Rafting down the Zambezi Gorge.
