Day 1
Travel to Kafue National Park this is roughly a 3 hours drive from the lodge. Upon arrival, we have lunch and a take the chance to relax before setting off on for an afternoon’s game drive; here we have a good chance of seeing the majority of Africa's big game including the popular predators. Returning to the lodge about 19:30 for a three-course meal served in the main restaurant overlooking the Kafue River and the banks of the National Park with the chance of seeing Elephants as they come for their evenings drink.

Day 2
Today we are in the park twice; rising early we set off about 06:00 for a morning’s game viewing. This is also a great chance to enjoy one of Zambia's famous walking safaris, where you learn about the tracks, smaller animals and also uses of trees etc; whilst it isn’t intended to see the big game, this does happen and adds to the adventure. Returning back to the lodge for dinner and a rest during the heat of the day, before we set off on an afternoons Game Drive. After drinks to watch the sunset, we have a short night drive on the way back to the Lodge. Returning back to the camp after sunset for dinner and a welcome night’s sleep.

Day 3
Another early start for a morning Drive, we then return to the camp and relax until early afternoon; lounge around the pool; compare stories at the bar or just sleeping in the tents. The afternoon and early evening is spent on a river cruise for sunset. This is the opportunity to see the animals as they drink in the cool of the afternoon, we should be fortunate enough to see Elephant, Buffalo and the antelopes, also of course plenty of Hippos and some Crocodiles. After sundowners and a final view of Africa's spectacular sunsets we return to enjoy our final nights' meal.

Day 4
After a final morning’s game drive or walk and breakfast, you leave the lodge and travel back to Lusaka. You should be back in town by about 16:00
