Day 1 : Cape
Town to Montague
We travel over the Klein
Drakenstein Mountains to Worcester, nestled in the Breede
River Valley, a lush fruit and wine-growing region. Following the world's
longest wine route, we enjoy the countryside with its spectacular
mountain scenery, orchards and vineyards. Along the way we make
leisurely stops at various wine estates and farm stalls.
We arrive in Montague where we overnight after some leisure time.
Day 2 :
Montague to Cape Town
Today we experience the
highlight of this special tour. After a light breakfast we leave Montagu
and travel via the Koo Valley to the farm of Niel Burger for a tractor
ride up the majestic Langeberg Mountains. Returning from this
breathtaking ride, we enjoy a scrumptious traditional "potjiekos"
meal prepared in black cast iron pots over an open fire. Our return
journey takes us through vast semi-desert Karoo landscape to verdant
valleys with dramatic mountain scenery all around.
