Overland camping safaris in Namibia 

Namibia is a unique diverse safari destination, with varied, breathtaking scenery and great contrasts; wildlife, tribal cultures, ocean, desert and forests. 

Namibia tented camping safari options includes such highlights as the worlds highest sand dunes at Sossusvlei.

The wilderness paradise of Etosha National Park and the fascinating geographical structures of the Fish River Canyon. 

The close proximity of Namibia to other points of interests: Victoria Falls, Chobe and Okavango Delta, makes the country a popular tourist destination.

The 10 day Classic is a combination of our 3 day Sossysvlei Link and our 7 day Northern Adventure and follows, in a different order, exactly the same itinerary as our 10 day Namibian Explorer itinerary, so it also offers all the main Namibian highlights in a two week holiday time frame. The night of day 3 is spent in Windhoek and accommodation on this night is included in the price in a quality Windhoek guest-house.

Traveling north, south & west you will visit the Africat Foundation at Okonjima to meet and learn about Africa’s Big Cats. Then on to Etosha National Park for some concentrated Big Game viewing. The Himba village at Oase brings us in touch with some of Namibia’s ancient traditions before traveling into the desert proper to spend the night at The Brandberg, Namibia’s highest mountain and an ancient Bushman spiritual site. 

Swakopmund on the Skeleton Coast offers time to relax or time for some adventure sport adrenaline and the trip closes with two nights with the awesome sand dunes at Sesriem & Sossusvlei, the world’s tallest dunes in the world’s oldest desert.

Guaranteed departures every Tuesday of the year. There are no minimum numbers and no single supplements and the price is virtually fully inclusive of everything you will need whilst traveling with us. The style is limited participation, assisted camping with the participation limited to only helping with the tents. Collection time is between 08:00 & 08:30 from anywhere within the Windhoek city limits.
